Metropolitan Library System readying for Phase 2 of reopening

The Metropolitan Library System will enter the second section of its reopening plan Monday.

As previously reported, the Metro Library System introduced in March that it was closing all its buildings because of the coronavirus pandemic. However the system has continued to serve the group by way of the various digital companies folks can entry from residence, corresponding to e-books and e-audiobooks; streaming movies and TV services; free entry to magazines and newspapers; and extra.

The Metropolitan Library System is the general public library system serving Oklahoma County residents. It contains 19 library department areas. MLS is the biggest library system in Oklahoma, serving anybody who lives, attends faculty, or owns property in Oklahoma County.

As previously reported, the Metro Library System earlier this month started permitting cardholders to pickup their holds by way of curbside supply, which was the primary section of reopening.

For Part 2, all libraries will provide expanded companies, together with laptop use, scanning, faxing and copying, based on the Metro Library System website.
